BSL 2026  British Slotracing League

16th August Dunfermline

As usual the BSL Scottish Tour provided a very memorable & enjoyable experience for all who attended. A big thanks to both clubs for their organisation & hospitality.

The Fylde club looks forward to welcoming everybody for the final round on 18 Oct. See you there!

Race Report by Alan Lucas

We had 9 entrants for the 1/32 class and 3-man racing throughout this class. Qualifying (best 2 heats from 4) was very close, especially for the top 3:

1. Alan Lucas 60.80 laps

2. Steve Sargent 60.79

3. Pat Skene 60.72

4. Gavin Scott 59.68

5. Trevor Leeming 59.29

6. Neil Grogan 58.94

7. Shane Leeming 58.72

8. Ant Hawkes 57.87

9. Richard Wallace 55.24

The finals were 5 minutes each. Ant won the C-final:

1. Ant 48.51 laps

2. Richard 47.56

3. Shane 46.86

The B-final was close, all 3 finishing on the same lap:

1. Neil 49.69

2. Gavin 49.23

3. Trevor 48.81

Similarly, the A-finalists all finished on the same lap:

1. Alan 51.30

2. Steve 50.88

3. Pat 50.39

Marcus Corrieri joined us for the 1/24 race, so we had 5 teams, each racing for four 15-minute segments. Everyone except Ecurie Dunfermline used brushless cars. The final result was:

1. Ecurie Barnton (Pat Skene & Alan Lucas) 697.39 laps

2. Team 32 (Steve Sargent & Richard Wallace) 662.86

3. Team Hawk (Ant Hawkes & Gavin Scott) 645.46

4. T1 (Trevor & Shane Leeming) 583.85

5. Ecurie Dunfermline (Marcus Corrieri & Neil Grogan) 569.0
